Twin dynamically balanced vertical augers – Widebody

Twin 34″ diameter dynamically balanced vertical augers have flights laser cut from heat treated BORON steel to improve strength and service life. 3/4″ thick reversible hardened cutters manufactured using BORON steel are bolted and supported along back edge, shred products leaving a wide and even spread. Two fixed position BORON steel bottom blades per auger give wider spread widths of materials that are either fine or wet

Full width floor slats – Widebody

Full width floor slats clear the whole floor eliminating the possibility of bridging – a problem sometimes encountered with multi slat floor systems. The socket fit design facilitates maintenance, which can be carried out in the field. It also allows the chain to pull straight, should a slat become bent

Floor chains – 3/4″

Grade 80 3/4″ heavy duty chains are drawn by high tensile sprockets. Sprockets are fitted to the front floor shaft as well as the driven rear shaft, ensuring perfect alignment and timing of the chains, which, in turn makes for a more reliable floor drive. Each chain has 55 tonne breaking load

One Piece Gearbox – Widebody

The robust one piece gearbox houses internal gear sets unique to Bunnings in order to ensure that auger speeds are optimised to achieve excellent spread patterns. They are large in diameter with 2/8″ output shafts manufactured from heat treated steel. The precision machined castings ensure perfect alignment of all the driveline components

Floor drive gearbox RT800

The 800 series floor drive gearbox is hydraulically driven to ensure an even feed of material to the spreading mechanism at all times. With a reverse feature, any foreign object too large to pass through the beaters can be easily removed. An adjustable cross-line relief valve also delivers additional protection. The Widebody 380HD models are fitted with 2 floor drive gearboxes as standard

Especially developed to reduce shock loads to the auger drive gearbox, the rubber cushion arrangement located between the output shaft of the auger gearbox and the base of the auger contributes to the reliability and longevity of the machine

HMW Plastic Floor

HMW plastic floor virtually eliminates the possibility of products sticking to the floor of the spreader. It can also improve the flow of products with high friction values. The material is extremely durable and is in addition to the spreaders standard floor construction

Lift off augers

To enable the machine to be used for other jobs the auger assembly can be removed for the faster unloading of products such as grass, maize silage and even grain

Drop down covers for deck cleaning

To help clean out the deck area around the bottom of the augers these covers can be opened to allow material and water to flow out

Wide angle PTO assembly

The wide angle joint allows for turning on headlands with the PTO still engaged. It should be noted that the manufacturers recommend that you do not turn with the PTO under load

Stone guard extension

The stone guard extension gives more protection to the tractor cab from stones being thrown forward by augers/beaters

Floor chain tensioning – Widebody

A robust, simple and reliable floor tensioning system ensures floor chain tension can be easily adjusted in order to be kept to its optimum setting. Floor chains are visible from the exterior of the machine making it easy to judge when tensioning is required

Floor shaft bushes – Widebody

2 3/8″ floor drive shafts rotate through polyester re-inforced composite bushes that contain a solid graphite filler, chosen for their high load applications in a variety of environments they are greasable, further extending their life. Bush highlighted in red

Automatic light covers

Machines fitted with slurry doors have Automatic Light Covers as standard. A simple mechanism triggered by the slurry door, moves the light cover over the lights as the slurry door begins to open

Dual floor drive (for sludge cake) upgrade

The option to upgrade to Dual 800 series floor drive gives higher torque to aid in spreading dense materials, especially sludge cake. Only available on Twin Vertical Auger spreaders. Standard on 380 TVA spreaders

Sludge Cake Kit

This option includes closer position floor slats, angled pressings on the rear of the machine to prevent sticky products building up on flat surfaces and angle throwers on augers

Overload beacon
