Noah Hughes from TK Feedyards in Canistota South Dakota, USA recently helped us out at the North American manure Expo in Brookings, South Dakota with their Bunning Lowlander Widebody 380 HD. The Expo is a great opportunity for farmers and custom operators to find out more information regarding manure spreaders for sale in the north American market. TK Feedyards custom feed around 900 head of cattle as well as custom manure, lime and bio mass spreading along with custom planting and harvesting services.
Tk Feedyards were running a Bunning Lowlander Widebody 230 spreader prior to purchasing the Widebody 380 HD from Dale Behring of Big Ag Iron near Sioux Falls South Dakota.
“We had no hesitation when it came to purchase a larger spreader” says Feedlot owner Tom Papendick
”The 230 never let us down. We’ve been really impressed with the Bunning build quality, strength and reliability”. Noah Hughes who operates the Widebody 380 HD which is fitted with weigh scales and the Bunning isocan in cab controller says that the auto rate control is a huge step forward in terms of application control and traceability. “All I have to do is punch in the rate that is required, my driving bout widths and the Isocan does the rest“.
The system works on live weight information from the scales to then control the apron speed to match the target rate entered by the operator. “It’s even ground speed related too, so if I change speed it adjusts the apron speed accordingly” says Noah.
